Nicole Workman is a children’s book author and educator with a passion for celebrating imagination, friendship, and the wonder found in everyday moments. Inspired by the way children see possibility and adventure all around them, she created Reagan & Mr. Quacker’s Big San Diego Adventure to encourage young readers to explore, imagine, and discover just how extraordinary an ordinary day can become. With the love and encouragement of her family, Nicole found the courage to turn an idea close to her heart into her first published children’s book. Her stories celebrate curiosity, companionship, courage, and imagination while reminding children that they don’t have to travel somewhere extraordinary to experience wonder.
Nicole lives in Florida with her family and continues to write stories that encourage children to dream, discover, and see the world around them a little differently. “Reagan & Mr. Quacker’s Their Big San Diego Adventure is her debut children’s book.
I’m a Florida-based author, educator, wife, and mom who has always believed in the power of stories. My years working with children have shown me just how naturally they can turn the ordinary into something extraordinary—with a little curiosity, courage, and imagination. My children’s stories celebrate that sense of wonder. I love creating characters who explore, discover, problem-solve, and find adventure in places that might otherwise seem completely ordinary. Because sometimes the greatest adventures aren’t found somewhere far away—they’re waiting right where we are. Writing has also become a way for me to share pieces of my own journey. Alongside my children’s books, I am working on my memoir, Pieces of Nicole, a deeply personal story about life changing unexpectedly, rebuilding, and discovering that even when the path looks different from the one we planned, our story is still ours to write.
